Scrap Yard

The facility has 8 covered scrap halls with a volume of 610,000 m³. This structure allows different types of scrap to be stocked without mixing. Approximately 80% of the scrap used is procured from the foreign market and 20% from the domestic market. With 4 overhead cranes, scrap is selected to be cast in the desired quality according to the production recipe. With the SAP system, the entry of scrap to the factory site, its exit to production and stock movements are effectively monitored. In addition, production efficiency is increased by separating metal and nonmetal with a scrap sieve with a screening capacity of 40 tons per hour.
